ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of early music and all sorts of other stuff - Baroque opera, for example. The Tallis Scholars were great, btw. The program was a mix of their standard repertoire - Palestrina, Byrd, Allegri - and some Arvo Part pieces. I'm a big fan of Part as well, so it was a real treat for me. The Allegri Miserere with that soaring soprano line was the high point of the evening, however.
