Generally I'd like to think someday the internet can become a place for serious discussion. That would mean that, whenever one links to J. F. Beck's website, one warns the reader that Beck generally gets things bass ackwards, that Beck is like a bulldog on meaningless trivialities, and that one would do better to find other sources.
Case in point: Back slams Lambert and Quiggan for their failure to apologize to a columnist they caught misquoting Rachel Carson.
Say what? Since when does the cop apologize to the captured burglar?
